Soccer Star!

Tori wanted to swap over from dance to join soccer this winter. We said sure, why not. I played soccer almost all my life and Jason loves soccer as well. For our little hyper go get em kiddo she was actually rather reserved. She did do well which was great! She always loved going to her games and her best bud Bailey played as well. The two of them loved the fact that their name was on the back of their jerseys!!

Tori got a trophy at the end of the season that she was soooo proud of!!

Chandler Light Parade

Emily's dance company was in the Chandler Light Parade. It is a light parade that takes place at night and all of the participants wear tiny battery powered lights. It was really neat to watch.
Each 'group' in her company dressed as a different part of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Emily was one of the Christmas dolls in the sack of toys stolen.
Two of her instructors were dressed as the Grinch, Miss Tina, and Cindy Lou Who, Miss Alyssa.
They each carried a present with lights inside that looked really cool when they did their dance routine!

My lil doll :)

Emm and three of her dance group friends, Bailee, Bailey and Ali.

For Thanksgiving Jason's parents and his brother Tyler and our sister in law Katie came over for dinner. It was delicious and it was great to spend time with our family.

Scarecrow Day!!

Emm had an Activity Days Awards ceremony and part of the fun was she and I each getting to paint each others' faces like a scarecow. It was a wonderful day where I could get to spend time with just myself and Emily.

Emily and the pumpkin that we decorated :)

It was Jase's 35th b-day and we had the family over to celebrate!
The girls made him this hat and they were so proud of it and were so excited that he wore it for them. I know he probably was a little nervous about wearing it, but it totally made the girls' day as you can see in the photo below.
The kids got Jase this really cool dragon figurine and I lucked out and picked him up a Greg Olson print. Greg Olson was at Costco and was signing his work, so I picked up one for Jase that he signed on the front and back, wishing Jase a happy 35th and then one for our family which he signed and then on the back wrote something special to our family.
